Health care continues to be a topic of fierce debate. Into the fray enters a new documentary, ?Escape Fire,? which will be showing Thursday night at the Spectrum.
An Official Selection at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and winner of Best Documentary at last summer?s Berkshire Film Festival, the film has been called ??An Inconvenient Truth? for the healthcare debate,? by Anthony Kaufman of The Village Voice.
Following the film, there will be a Q&A with Dr. Ronald Stram, of Delmar?s Stram Center for Integrative Health and Healing, John Huppertz, PhD. and Chair of the Union Graduate College Healthcare MBA Program and Richard Kirsch, Senior Fellow at the Roosevelt Institute, and author of ?Fighting for Our Health? The Epic Battle to Make Health Care a Right in the United States.?
